Hi,

i miss the possibility to open a post in a new window and have this post seperated from the thread.

Thanks!

It's funny, I thought we had that. I guess not... I'll add that feature request to my "TO DO" list.

In the mean time just click "Quote" and select "open in new window."

Have a nice day! :)

My solution is not quite good enough. I'm not an expert IHG user so when I want to rip one post from a multi-post set on vBulletin forums I use the # appearing in the upper right corner and open the link in a new window.

However this is SMF = Simple Machines Forum. We are adding all the best vBulletin features to our forum and while this is somewhat down the list I'll see that we get it because I miss it too.

Sure, no problem. Your work is appreciated!

I noticed your "workround" isn't a real solution for me, cause i loose the thread title.
It will be patient and wait for this feature to show up in SMF ;-)

IHG Hacker's solution, not recommended for the faint of heart.

Yup, you have to temporary modify your hostf.xml.

Let's say you are watching the great collection of looperjack on http://hot-honeys.com/index.php?topic=662.30 page 3 and you only want Jane B - Cooler

your URL pattern is <urlpattern>^http:\/\/fapat\.me\/.+$</urlpattern>

you just have to filter more

hover on first pic and you see http://fapat.me/571a278318842.jpg
hover on the last pic and you see http://fapat.me/571a279fbe9ab.jpg
your new temporary URL pattern becomes

<urlpattern>^http:\/\/fapat\.me\/img-571a27[89a].+$</urlpattern>

a bit of tuning coz only 122 pics(that's the a) and on select pics and voila.

I did say for Hackers Only.  :D

At least Greg, firewaran, and a few others get the picture.

don't forget to put it back the way it was, or you are going to make another request
followed by a witty answer.

I just hit "quote" in a new window.
Then hit "preview".
Then go to "select pics on page" and then just select the first 150 entries.

this way i dont need to find it in the list, goes pretty fast this way and i don't need to think.

But its a nice idea to do it your ways SenileDog :D

I still want the feature. I'll admit it will be rather close to the bottom of the TODO list, but I'm surprised SMF doesn't have the feature.
