2 hosts on the same page!
« on: November 17, 2016, 12:48 am »
Sometimes like on this page you have 2 hosts available in this example chronos and img.yt.

https://vipergirls.to/threads/2293041-Sade-Mare-Denso-%28125x%29-4500px-%2814-11-2016%29

If you can use an editor like notepad++, just edit your hostf.xml and comment out one of them for the duration of the download.

with <!-- -->

like this

Code: [Select]
<!--<host id="chronos">
<urlpattern>^http:\/\/chronos\.to\/.+$</urlpattern>
<searchpattern><![CDATA[function(pageData, pageUrl) {
var id = pageUrl.match(/http:\/\/[^/]+\/([^/\.]+)/);
var req = new XMLHttpRequest();
req.open("POST", pageUrl, false);
req.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8");
req.send("op=view&id="+id[1]+"&pre=2&next=Continue to image...");
var iUrl = (req.responseText).match(/src=("|')(http:\/\/[^/]+\/(img|i)\/.+?)\1.+alt=("|')(.+\.jpe?g)\4/i);
return iUrl ? {imgUrl: iUrl[2], fileName: iUrl[5].replace(/\.jpe?g/i, ".jpg"), status: "OK"} : {imgUrl: null, status: "ABORT"}
}]]></searchpattern>
</host>-->

save, download from 1 host, then remove <!-- and -->, and you are done.

Or just use the "Select pics on page" and select only one hoster. Should be easier in some cases.

Thanks firewaran,

Yes, it tells you how much I rely on notepad++ to do everything. :lol:

But you should be more explicit if you want users to benefit from your remark, and explain it is not only to use Select pics on page but you have to apply a filter by entering chronos or img.yt in the filter value then click on apply filter.

Also be sure that simple and URL or Host ID need to be ticked.

Cheers, SD

I thought if someone is willing to do manual work in the solutions file then it would be no problem to figure out how the dialog works.

To be honest i just open it up, click "clear all" go to the first entry > left click, go to the last entry i want > hold shift-key + left click, press Spacebar and hit "ok".

It is good that there is a filter, but i never had a case i said "yes, i am glad i have this feature" :P

[edit]
I often have a look at collections, and usually i don't download all of them. So i have a look at the page and decide which sets i want.
Then i go into "select pic on page" and i just do the above procedure for the sets i want to have, before i click on "ok".
The preview feature is very helpful for those cases, but i never concentrated on filter.

IHG already has this sorted.

In the example given, choose "Select pics". Click on "Clear all" - all the ticks disappear. You'll notice that the first pic is highlighted in blue. Using the scroll bar on the right scroll down until you see img.yt. Hold down the shift key and click on the last chronos entry - ALL the chronos are now highlighted in blue. Right click and choose "check". All the chronos will be downloaded.

If you prefer to download from img.yt hit "Clear all", scroll down to the first img.yt, click on it, hold down the Shift key, hit "End" to highlight them all, right click, etc.

In the the "Select pics" dialogue the standard Windows keys - Shift to select a range, Ctrl to select individual items. End, Page Down / Up and Home are available for navigation.

Or...
In the "Select pics" dialogue, right-click on the 'Host ID' column header!
