BB-Code to intermediate file
« on: May 04, 2016, 01:42 am »
I just discovered that if you cut and paste BB-Code to an intermediate file, and then copy it, to a post, you lose the flexibility of number of pics in a row when you re-size the window, and can have only one pic in a row.

Why is that? Is there some hidden tag?

If you cut and paste directly, for example from imagebam to HH, everything is fine.

You are probably using Notepad. Turn off word wrap. When word wrap is enabled and you cut 'n paste the result is the CRLF end of lines are inserted. The forum preserves line feeds or otherwise we wouldn't be able to separate paragraphs.

So what you ended up with is images with line feeds inserted. I'm pretty sure that is what happened.

Just remember when cut 'n paste from Notepad, turn off word wrap.
